Join us on Giving Tuesday for the first installment of our Protecting the Value of Food™ roundtable series! With the holidays upon us, this session will focus on how we can drive transformative change to tackle the food insecurity crisis.

n the U.S. alone, 13.5 million households were food insecure – approximately 10.2% of the total population. At the same time, 30-40% of all food in the U.S. is lost on its journey between farm to fridge. With this, there is a significant opportunity for us to take steps to reduce wasted food and have a real impact on eliminating the food insecurity crisis.

In this roundtable discussion, we bring together leaders across the retail, food bank, and technology space for a conversation on the solutions to tackle food insecurity and how – together – we can drive transformative change.

The roundtable participants include: – Moderator Chris Costanzo, Founder and Editor, Food Bank News – Cheryl Schondek, COO, Greater Boston Food Bank – Tricia Johnson, Director of Deployment, Stop & Shop – Ryan Begin, CEO and co-founder, Divert, Inc.

Our Roundtable Panel:

  • (Moderator) Chris Costanzo, Founder and Editor, Food Bank News
  • Cheryl Schondek, COO, Greater Boston Food Bank
  • Tricia Johnson, Director of Deployment, Stop & Shop
  • Ryan Begin, CEO and co-founder, Divert, Inc.
